Why we wrote this guide

Most of the questions people send us before they order have little to do with software. They want to know about SIM cards, fitters, pricing and where to find their first clients. We've answered them here in one place, based on what we've learned from working with tracking companies.

About Ivan Rushmer

Ivan Rushmer founded whitelabelgps. He took his first job in telematics in 2014. In the years since, he has run tracking services, built software and designed tracker hardware.

Several of the big telematics manufacturers know him well. Much of the world's tracking hardware is made in China, and Ivan has spent long periods there designing new devices with the factories.

Ivan is also a full-stack developer and has written code for the whole system, from the device connections and servers to the portal and the phone app. Under his lead, the platform has grown to support 4,800 device types, with a separate server for each tracking brand.
